Work With Me

About Jayne

Jayne Shore is the author of Fluent in Silence,
a chapbook of poetry forthcoming from Finishing Line Press in April 2026. She holds an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University in Science Writing and has published stories of scientists and inventors in outlets such as Popular Science, Mashable, Psychology Today, and STAT News, as well as poetry in journals including the Indianapolis Review. In honor of her late grandmother, she writes under her last name.

  • "In addition to her clear suggestions for how I might tighten my piece, Jayne showed me the inherent value in the content, which I was beginning to doubt. I feel energized to get back to work on a piece that had been languishing. That's no small feat."

    Sue Ann G.

  • "I always come to Jayne first for grammar, but it's her ear for lyricism and creative voice that has made the most impact on my writing."

    Emiliano M.

  • “Jayne's notes on vocabulary choice, line break suggestions, and ordering of pieces within a collection were so valuable to me. Her advice helped me strengthen my collection while still maintaining my voice. I highly recommend her work to any poets seeking support!”

    Candace K.

  • "I always trust Jayne to give me both supportive and incisive feedback. She knows how to protect my voice while also providing insights that help me move my pieces forward. I highly recommend her!”

    Kate B.
